Candace and Ryan Engagement

I have the privilege of introducing you to Candace and Ryan. I met Candace a few months ago when she was looking for a wedding photographer. I will be shooting their wedding next weekend and I am honored to be a part of the occasion! Here are some of their last minute engagement photos taken at the beautiful arboretum!













I really need to learn how to teach people how to dip...I feel it's an important skill that all wedding photographers need to know. I'm going to have Josh show me :)

Shanell and Kwan

Shanell is my biggest fan and she has supported me from the very beginning of adventure into photography. I can always count on her to give me encouraging words and honest feedback on all my photo shoots. Shanell and Kwan have been together for many years (middle school I think) and they have beautiful kids. In two weeks they will be getting married and I am honored to be their wedding photographer. Next week we're doing my first bridal shoot for Shanell and I'll be post pictures of that after the wedding so we don't ruin the surprise!

We did these engagement photos at the arboretum. The flowers were absolutely stunning and everything was amazingly green. The only down side was that we got rained out, but we got some great shots before the down pour. Enjoy!

Haley & Adam Sneak Peek

I have wanted to do a photo shoot in Midway for a long time. The college campus is beautiful this time of year and downtown is quaint,colorful,and captivating. I was excited that Haley and Adam were up for taking pictures on campus and downtown! The weather was beautiful and we got some great shots! Here are a few of my favorites. Garrett and Leeah in Downtown Lexington

Meet Garrett and Leeah, well I guess you already have a small bit since I posted one of their engagement photos for a contest! I will introduce you to them a little more. Josh and I met Garrett our freshmen year at UK, and we all became very good friends by playing killer pong, making trips to Mcdonalds and Dennys at 2am, and hanging out at the Baptist Student Union! Last Summer I believe Garrett met this wonderful lady and has fallen deeply in love with her and they are getting married in March! We set out on a VERY cold Sunday afternoon into downtown Lexington, KY to take some engagement photos! They were both so easy to photograph together and I had a blast taking these...and stealing Garrett's coat :P
